Get trained up to become Pro Use Authorized and/or meet Missouri Display License requirements! DATE & TIME: October 24, 2026 from 9AM-6PM, with a product demo in the evening. Training check-in starts at 8:30AM. 6-hour classroom portion begins at 9:00AM, followed by a field training portion in the afternoon. Evening demo attendance is optional.

AGE REQUIREMENT: Must be 18+ to participate in the field setup portion.

LOCATION: Columbia, Missouri. The classroom portion will take place in Tavern Hall at Midway Golf and Games, followed by a hands-on field training at the Spirit of '76 facilities in the afternoon.

LUNCH: Lunch will be provided by 44 Tavern and is included in the course fee.

WHAT TO BRING: Please bring safety glasses for the field setup. Participants are encouraged to bring note-taking tools such as pencils, pens, and a notebook or laptop. A class workbook will be provided.

ABOUT THE COURSE: Advance your fireworks skills with this hands-on training, perfect for those looking to meet Missouri operator training requirements or gain professional experience. Taught by the expert team at Emcee MGMT, this training provides an excellent opportunity to earn credits toward certification (as well as '76 Pro Use Authorization) while enhancing your practical knowledge. This course covers essential topics, including outdoor fireworks displays, proximate displays, Articles Pyrotechnic, Pro Use Only products, and risk assessment for shoot sites. You will also gain valuable field experience by participating in the setup for our evening demo. NOTE FOR MISSOURI 1.4G PRO USE AUTHORIZATION: In order to buy 1.4G Professional Use Fireworks from '76 Pro Line or Spirit of '76, Missouri residents must first obtain a MO Display Operator's or Proximate Fireworks license. Take this course to cover the state-approved training required to obtain a MO state license. Once this course is completed and a MO state license is obtained, we can grant your account Pro Use Authorization to purchase our 1.4 Pro Line items.
